This silicone lower limb model includes the main deep and superficial vessels distal to the iliac artery. The simulator details the femoral artery, the descending branch of the circumflex artery, the superior and inferior genicular arteries, the fibular artery, and the posterior and anterior tibial arteries.
The lower limb artery simulator consists of three independent segments, allowing each section to be used independently or replaced with patientspecific segments as needed. Upon request, the Biomap team can integrate aneurysms, additional vessel wall narrowing, and simulate calcified deposits in various locations.
This anatomical lower limb artery simulator is designed for training and skill enhancement in the field of endovascular surgery. The simulator is based on angiography and CT data, ensuring a high level of vascular topography detail.
The leg vascular bed simulator allows for the following endovascular interventions:
- Embolization of lower limb vascular bed aneurysms
- Balloon angioplasty and stenting of thin leg arteries
- Thrombaspiration, mechanical thrombectomy, and combined thrombectomy techniques
