This silicone lower limb model includes the main deep and superficial vessels distal to the iliac vein. The simulator details the femoral and superficial femoral veins, the great and small saphenous veins, the popliteal vein, the lateral inferior genicular vein, and the posterior tibial and fibular veins.
The lower limb vein simulator consists of three independent segments, allowing each section to be used independently or replaced with patientspecific segments as needed. Upon request, the Biomap team can integrate aneurysms, additional narrowing, dilation, or curvature of vessel walls, and simulate fatty deposits in various locations.
This anatomical lower limb vein simulator is designed for training and skill enhancement in the field of endovascular surgery. The simulator is based on angiography and CT data, ensuring a high level of vascular topography detail.
The leg venous bed simulator allows for the following endovascular interventions:
- Embolization of lower limb vascular bed aneurysms
- Balloon angioplasty and stenting of leg veins
- Thrombaspiration, mechanical thrombectomy, and combined thrombectomy techniques
