BIOMAP anatomical models consist of conditional segments of the vascular bed in natural size, which reproduce various features of the development of vascular diseases. We also create complete anatomical copies of the individual features of the circulatory system in a short time based on CT and MRI data.
When making models, we use a special silicone that reproduces the elasticity and smoothness of the vascular wall while maintaining absolute transparency. BIOMAP silicone anatomical simulators allow you to observe every movement of endovascular instruments in the vessel lumen.
Silicone models do not need constant updating when new tools or techniques become available. The anatomical simulator kit can be supplemented with a pump with variable flow rate and rhythm frequency parameters. This increases the realism of sensations during intravascular interventions, and also provides an informative visualization of the learning process in groups. For contrast, we recommend using dyes or radiopaque substances.
In addition to practicing practical skills, silicone models can be used to develop and test new intravascular instruments, prepare for complex surgical procedures, and also for scientific purposes. Our vascular bed models allow us to practice and test a wide range of X-ray surgical skills.:
- practicing instrument navigation in different types of vascular bed anatomy;
- embolization of cerebral and peripheral aneurysms;
- thrombaspiration and thrombextraction from intracranial arteries;
- coronary stenting;
- angioplasty and others.
